We are currently accepting applications for our January 2026 cohorts in Birmingham, Bristol, South Glos and Taunton. Our programmes are open to unemployed Mums 19 yrs + (no upper age limit) who are looking to find meaningful work. You will need to be living in one of the areas currently covered by our funders (Birmingham, Bath, Bristol, South Glos & Somerset). 

We particularly welcome Mums who are on benefits and have been out of work for a while.

Please fill in the application in as much detail as possible and tell us why you would like to join the Women’s Work Lab. Remember what’s important to us is not what you’ve been doing up until now, but the fact that you are ambitious to make a change, open to new ideas and have a willingness to learn. We will be in touch shortly afterwards to let you know if you have been shortlisted for an informal telephone interview for a place.
