The comments from the Judges mean so much to us!

. Outstanding Women’s Organisation

  • The Judges’ Words:  "This organisation was recognised for 'literally transforming the landscape for mothers in Bristol' and strengthening the city's social fabric by investing in overlooked potential. The judges were struck by their relentless focus on marginalised groups, including lone parents and survivors of domestic violence. They have supported over 650 mothers toward financial independence using a school-hours training model and 1-on-1 mentoring. Their impact is so profound that 50% of their own staff are graduates of the programme, and they recently earned 'Significant Progress' in every category from Ofsted—the highest possible rating for a new provider."

2. Charity or Not for Profit

  • The Judges’ Words:  "In a category full of incredible impact, this organisation stood out for their relentless focus on the most marginalised groups. By providing a bridge back to professional life for those who felt left behind, they aren't just supporting individuals—they are strengthening the social and economic fabric of our entire city and beyond. By creating a pathway back to professional life for those who felt overlooked including the long-term unemployed, people with disabilities or health conditions, and carers—they are not just supporting individuals but strengthening outcomes for these women and their families. Judges recognised their work proves that when you invest in a woman’s potential, the return is felt across the whole community."

Huge congratulations to all the other organisations who won and were nominated too! We have so much respect for you all.
